EXTERIORS

Painted brick exteriors are hot right now!  Customers love this option because it gives their home a fresh feel and it is easy to keep clean!  Creams, taupes, and grays are popular color schemes for painted brick.

Shutters are a detail that most people over-look.  The right shutter color can make all the difference in a home! We love the way the muted green shutters add a touch of color to the Somerset Designer model home!

INTERIORS

Trends are pointing to a lot of natural and exposed details in the home.  Natural woods and stones give the home a warm feel.  Wooden barn doors & cedar beams are very popular among customers.  The show, Fixer Upper has become such an inspiration to new homeowners; farmhouse style with a shiplap wall (of course!).

We’ve also been seeing more chandeliers making their way into homes.  Large, statement chandeliers over the formal dining room table and linear, neat pendant lights in the kitchen gives the home a sophisticated-cool feel.

Brass, copper, and gold accents are slowly coming back into style.  These finishes would look amazing against white or gray tones.

You will surely fall in love with the Brentwood Plan.  The Brentwood plan is a new plan offered in our Fleming Ridge community.  With 5 bedrooms and 4.5 bathrooms, this home will meet all the needs of your family.  You and your family will enjoy the openness of this home.  The sleek fireplace and built-ins serve as a beautiful centerpiece of the living area.  Wooden beams and natural stone gives this space character and a unique feel in Collierville.

Here are some of our favorite parts of the home 🙂

A – Get ready to be pampered!  The master suite is PERFECT! You’ll have an at-home spa with a tub, separate shower, designer cabinets, and a vaulted ceiling. Don’t forget about the massive walk-in closet!

B – Many windows, like ones along the gallery hall, make the home feel bright and open.

C – This sleek kitchen is SO dreamy! A long kitchen island with granite countertops creates an eat-in area with barstool seating. Windows add natural brightness to the space that reflects off the stainless steel appliances.

D – Your guests will feel right at home in this spacious downstairs suite!

E – The open floor plan allows easy access to the morning rom, kitchen, and outdoor living area.  The ceiling with exposed wooden beams creates a beautiful look in this timeless living room design.

F – Thirsty? No need to go all the way to the kitchen for a drink, instead, our refreshment center is centrally located upstairs in the Bonus Room!  This would be the ideal place to entertain your guests.

G – Grab a book & get cozy in this upstairs loft area.  Easy access to bedrooms & bonus room!

We can’t wait for you to see this gorgeous designer model home this Saturday!

What’s That Smell?

Categories: Holiday, Special Features | Posted: September 28, 2016

Don't Panic!

If this is your first time using your fireplace, you might smell an odd odor coming from your fireplace. Don’t panic! This is normal. As a newly constructed home, you will have that ‘new fireplace smell’. The burning smell will go away by:

  • 1. Opening your windows around your home (This is important!)
  • 2. Turning on your fireplace
  • 3. Letting it run for about 30 min.

Do this a couple of times before you use your fireplace and the smell should be completely gone!

If windows are the eyes to the house, then shutters must be the eyelashes!  And, just ask any girl–eyelashes are very important!  Shutters absolutely accentuate your house, for better or for worse.  Good news for you, Regency custom builds each shutter to make certain that your shutters are the right scale for your home’s exterior.  At the Design Center, you’ll have the opportunity to choose from 7 gorgeous stain colors that will coordinate perfectly with your brick and front door selections.

Shutters2

Our standard shutters are beautiful, but for just $35 per pair, you can upgrade your shutters to be trimmed out.  All of Regency’s shutters are handcrafted out of cedar, which is known for withstanding outdoor elements extremely well.

If you’re still wanting to add a little more to your shutters, consider accessorizing them with shutter dogs for $39!

Power Grout

Have you heard?  There’s a new grout in the tile world!  Most homeowners don’t realize that their grout in high traffic or constantly wet areas (like showers) should be resealed once a year to prevent shrinking, protect from mold and mildew, and keep grout from cracking.  To check if your grout needs to be resealed, put a few drops of water on your grout.  If the water doesn’t bead up, your grout needs to be resealed.

HP_Riviera_MasterBath

If resealing your grout sounds like the last project you want to tackle, look into the newest, most innovative grout in the tile industry!  TEC has developed Power Grout, a unique formulation that is highly stain resistant, provides strong, color consistent joints by resisting cracking and shrinking as well as being mold and mildew resistant.  By sealing each layer in the grout, Power Grout will never need to be resealed!  Just making your honey-do list a little bit shorter!

Ask the girls in the Design Center about using Power Grout in your new Regency Home!
